Feast of All Souls 2025

Feast of All Souls Mass

Today we celebrate the Feast of All Souls with a special Mass from the St. Francis Friary Chapel on W. 31st Street in New York City. We hope you’ll join us to honor our faithful and beloved departed. We’ve saved you a great seat with an unobstructed view in our front pew!

Together, we’ll remember those who’ve gone to heaven before us and pray for their eternal rest. We’ll also pray for the comfort of those who mourn and miss them.

Presiding over Mass will be Fr. James C. Bernard, OFM, with me serving as homilist.

All Souls Reflection

Happy November! Today is the first of 30 days that we celebrate the month of All Souls, a time for remembering our departed loved ones and reflecting on what they mean to us.

Today, we invite you to join Fr. Tom Hartle, OFM, for a touching All Souls Franciscan Reflection. May Fr. Tom’s thoughtful words bring you peace and comfort as you remember your beloved departed.

Franciscan Halloween Jeopardy

We hope you’ll enjoy an exciting round of All Souls, All Saints, and Halloween Jeopardy! We have some eye-opening questions this year, such as:

Is Halloween actually a holy holiday?

And look out for more email from the friars! Tomorrow, you’ll receive a touching All Souls Franciscan Reflection by Fr. Tom Hartle, OFM. On Sunday, you’ll receive access to a Feast of All Souls Mass from the St. Francis Friary Chapel in New York City.
